The trio rocked out to 'Sweet Home Alabama.'

Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 7 event kicked off Wednesday thanks to a round of “Carpool Karaoke” with CEO Tim Cook, Pharrell, and James Corden.

Singing “Sweet Home Alabama,” Cook, an Alabama native, rocked out in the passenger seat during the livestream. The trio also sang OneRepublic's "I Lived."

Apple in July announced an upcoming "Carpool Karaoke" series. The show will stream via Apple Music. No premiere date has been announced.

The event is expected to unveil the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 plus. Watch it streamed live here.
