One woman found a way to get passengers to listen to those pre-flight safety announcements.

Martha “Marty” Cobb is a Texas-based flight attendant with Southwest Airlines, and this video shows her very Texas technique for making people pay attention to those long-winded explanations of what you should do in an emergency. You know, those ones we immediately tune out because oxygen, emergency exits, blah blah blah.

The jokes come fast, so you’ve got to pay attention. The video description explains that she wants to meet Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Fallon. Well, she’s definitely got at least three minutes of stand-up.

We need more attendants like Cobb, especially when unruly passengers are attempting to open doors mid-flight.
