Jimmy Kimmel’s “This Week In Unnecessary Censorship” segment tackled the messy government shutdown.

In the bit, Kimmel censors words that aren’t dirty to make it sound like reporters, congressmen, and even children’s TV characters are cursing up a storm. It’s his weekly tribute to the FCC, and it works every time.

Frustrations over the government shutdown have made tensions run high in Washington and all over the United States. Watching this video is pretty cathartic because sometimes you wish Obama really did just tell it like it is and say, “This whole shit has been completly unnecessary.”

It’s what we’re all thinking.
