Someone made a ‘Sully’ fan art Tumblr that’s better than the movie

The trailer is way better anyway.

For some inexplicable reason, Sully is owning the box office. Directed by Clint “old man yells at chair” Eastwood, the movie stars a mustachioed Tom Hanks as the honestly quite boring airline captain who succeeds at not crashing his plane. Watch the trailer and you’re in for quite the high-flying thrill ride, though.

Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger had enough chill to nonchalantly fuck up a bunch of birds then save a bunch of humans in what’s been dubbed “the Miracle on the Hudson.” He does not have enough personality (nor does the incident) to have his 208 seconds of fame made into a movie. But his heroics—and the above trailer—are enough to inspire some fan art.

Grab a mirror and look at the back of your neck. All the hairs are standing straight up and you have goosebumps, right? That’s how evocative Tumblr‘s my sully fan art is.

There’s twists…

And turns…

And even a few conspiracies.

Hell, maybe you’ll learn something along the way.

Look at that old man wisdom. That’s the beauty of my sully fan art. It’s the fan art we want and what America deserves. No national investigation or pricey movie ticket required.
