The Tesla Model X has been teased for the past few years, and fans who have preordered the CUV have been patiently awaiting details on when they will receive their electric vehicle. The Model X online configurator is live at last for those who preordered, and Tesla will start making first deliveries in late September.

No surprise here, the Tesla Model X, with its gullwing doors, will be very expensive. Like $132,000 expensive. It will include a 90-kWh battery with an EPA estimated range of 240 miles. Not terrible by any means.

The standard Model X can zip from 0-60 in just 3.8 seconds. That’s remarkable considering its size. But because it’s Tesla, there’s bound to be an insane option. For those willing to fork over an extra $10,000, Tesla will add “ludicrous” upgrades. By ludicrous Tesla means being able to rev up from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

The Model X will also include other features like blind spot monitoring, but those who get the Signature Series can opt-in for some other neat add-ons: things like heated seats, an upgraded sound system, and air suspension with GPS memory.

A Tow package for $750 is also available and will allow owners to tow up to 5,000 pounds of stuff. And lastly there’s an option for those living in frigid temperatures. Things like a heated steering wheel, more heated seats, wiper defroster, and heated washer nozzles.
