Stop everything and try recording a video in Snapchat right now, because the ephemeral-messaging app has finally fixed one of its most annoying problems (at least on iOS). Thanks to a new update, you can now switch back and forth between selfie mode and the rear-facing camera while filming your snap.
Snap videos will never be the same.
To switch modes while shooting video, simply double tap on the screen while your finger is pressed on the record button. You can switch back and forth as many times as you want.

The Snapchat update, which rolled out while everyone was focused on Apple‘s WWDC keynote, also adds the ability to apply a battery filter to your snaps. This will let you tell your friends that your content will be dwindling as your battery slowly dies from too much snapping.
Another new feature, login verification, sends you a text message when someone tries to log into your account if you’ve enabled the feature. You will then be prompted to enter the code from the text message in the app, letting Snapchat know that it’s really you.
Make sure your iOS device is running the latest version of Snapchat and start sending those camera-swapping video snaps to your friends.
The feature does not appear to have rolled out on Android yet.
