Drones have many potential uses, but as the technology behind quadcopters and the like continues to advance, I think we might be overlooking the most obvious application of all: candy delivery. Thankfully, this downright stunning video shows just how useful a drone can be if you need to deliver a tasty chocolate bar from one side of Hong Kong to the other and you have less than 15 minutes to do it.

Taking off with its candy payload tightly secured, the autonomous drone makes its way to a comfortable altitude and then begins its impressive trek. Covering a distance of over 10 miles, the journey from Tseung Kwan O to Repulse Bay takes less than 14 minutes, and that’s with a bit of panning and sight-seeing thrown in to make the video especially captivating. According to Google Maps, making that same trip by car would take you nearly 30 minutes, and that’s with zero traffic accounted for.

On its trip, the drone passes several landmarks, all of which have been carefully labeled by its creator, a YouTuber by the name of Sky Frog. Sky Frog has also been quite active in the comments section, answering questions from viewers and adding further detail to the project itself.

While the video appears to be a seamless trip from one spot to the other, Sky Frog notes that the trip was actually made possible by a team of seven who control the drone and help to push it along toward its final destination. Of course, don’t forget the most important part: A hungry, candy-craving person was able to enjoy a chocolate bar. Yum.
