Thanksgiving is a time for friends and family to come together to share food and reflect on what they are grateful for. But according to Twitter, it’s also a time when people make complete asses of themselves.

Using the hashtag #ThingsNotToDoOnThanksgiving, more than 5,000 people have shared some real and hilarious advice people should heed.
