Teens say #ThanksMichelleObama for their crappy school lunches

To be fair, they do look gross.

For once, the “Thanks, Obama.” meme is targeting someone other than the president.

Students unhappy with their school lunches have begun to tweet #ThanksMichelleObama due to the first lady’s prominent role in pushing healthier food standards in schools.

The kids are not pleased with the results, and Republicans who were critical of Obama’s health push are jumping on the trend.

Funny, when I think back to when I was eating school lunches—before Michelle moved into the White House—I can’t think of a single particularly appetizing looking meal I ate either. They didn’t serve pizza back then so much as white mush on white “bread.” I guess the chocolate milk was pretty good though.

Well, at least kids today can be glad they’re not eating this:
