A woman will be added to the $10 bill in 2020, but to The Daily Show‘s Jessica Williams, all the hype is overblown.

With public pressure and financial interests resolving the controversy over the Confederate flagJon Stewart and his correspondents are back to focusing on more cheerful things, like a woman finally getting the chance to appear on American money. But while Williams agreed it was cool, she also said that it wasn’t as historic as people made it sound.

The $10 bill was already due for a makeover in 2020, so it was chosen out of convenience and not because of who was on it. Plus, a woman won’t fully take over the $10 bill, because Alexander Hamilton will still be on the back of the bill. And money will soon become outdated anyway.

Williams only cares about one thing.

“What I do care about is getting an equal share of the bill,” she said. “I’d rather have 10 full Hamilton dollars than $8.45 of lady bucks.”
