Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson visited the drought-stricken state of California recently. Despite the parched fruits of climate change staring Carson directly in the face, he made his views on global warming abundantly clear:

I know there are a lot of people who say “overwhelming science,” but then when you ask them to show the overwhelming science, they never can show it…There is no overwhelming science that the things that are going on are man-caused and not naturally caused. Gimme a break.

To that end, California Gov. Jerry Brown decided he would present Carson with some of the overwhelming science behind human-driven climate change.

If an analysis of more than 30,000 scientific papers penned by more than 800 scientists from 80 different countries isn’t enough to convince Carson that climate change is real, Brown noted, then he can look to the many thousands of similar reports that have accumulated over the year.

Of course, it’s not like it’s difficult to come by this information. A PDF document of the analysis Brown mailed to Carson is available online here.
