Even Congress is tired of it.

Even Congress is getting sick of Congress’s antics.

During a committee hearing that aired on C-SPAN Wednesday, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) adjourned it after Lois Lerner refused to testify about last year’s IRS scandal. As Issa slammed the gavel, fellow committee member Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) wanted to ask a question of his own, but not before criticizing Issa on how he ran the committee and accusing him of running a political witch hunt.

So Issa cut off Cummings’s mic. And that’s when the political shit hit the fan in one of the most entertaining shouting matches in Congress in some time.

“I don’t care… I am the ranking member of the committee and I want to ask a question!” Cummings said. “I have listened to you for 15 minutes… let me say what I want to say.”

Issa left while Cummings kept talking in the committee room and Lerner listened. He continued to speak during a press briefing after the hearing.
