During last Wednesday’s GOP Presidential debate, New York Times columnist Charles M. Blow tweeted a joke about Romney’s “magic underwear,” referring to the temple garments worn by some Mormons. This launched a wave of criticism that, even after Blow’s apology, shows little sign of subsiding.
