Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, has announced a brand new subscription service that will soon become available to Xbox One owners. The Xbox Game Pass includes over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for $9.99 per month.

As a way to promote “endless play,” the service will let players download the games to their console’s hard drive, and new games will be added every month. A subscription grants access to any of the titles included in the program. The official announcement included a few of the partners that will participate in the service.

With great games from top industry publishers such as 2K, 505 Games, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, Capcom, Codemasters, Deep Silver, Focus Home Interactive, SEGA, SNK CORPORATION, THQ Nordic GmbH, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft Studios, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and you will always find something exciting to play across a variety of genres. Some of the fan-favorite titles coming to Xbox Game Pass when it launches to the broader Xbox community later this spring include Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, NBA 2K16 and SoulCalibur II.

The program is scheduled to launch in Spring, with select members of the Xbox Insider Program invited to participate in an Alpha Preview. Xbox Game Pass’ library will include Xbox 360 and Windows 10 games, and should be available on Project Scorpio when it launches later this year.
