Netflix has officially renewed Stranger Things for a second season. We all knew the smash-hit horror series would return, so the really exciting thing about this news is the accompanying teaser trailer. Instead of just being an announcement video, it gives us some tantalizing hints about season 2.

The video doesn’t include any new footage, but it does provide some interesting clues. Accompanied by the show’s memorable theme music, the teaser reveals a list of mysterious phrases that are almost certainly episode titles.

“The Boy Who Came Back To Life” sounds like an obvious reference to Will Byers, while some of the other phrases—”Pollywog,” another word for tadpole, or a slang term for a new sailor—are more enigmatic. There are nine titles, meaning the new season has one more episode than season 1.

The teaser also reveals an unexpected time jump to “fall 1984,” about a year after the first season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Stranger Things creators the Duffer Brothers said the new season will introduce four new characters, although the possible return of Eleven is still “up in the air.” James Cameron will be a big influence on the new season, following the the show’s tradition of calling back to 1980s classics.
