Blockbuster news for Star Trek fans heading to San Diego Comic Con this summer: The latest movie in the franchise is set to premiere there at an outdoor amphitheater on July 20.

SDCC made the announcement on Friday night.

Star Trek Beyond hits theaters just two days after the premiere. What’s truly special about the event is not only its setting but the fanfare surrounding the movie. Fans heading to Embarcadero Marina Park will be taking in the movie at a beautiful waterfront setting—not that they’d be able to tear their eyes away from the IMAX screen—surrounded by its stars and crew.

They’ll also be treated to a live rendition of Michael Giacchino’s score for the movie. Giaachino has been composing for the franchise since 2009’s J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek, which earned him a Grammy nomination, an ASCAP award, and many other accolades.

“I am thrilled to celebrate the premiere of the film together with the fans at Comic-Con and excited for everyone there to experience Michael Giacchino’s incredible score played live,” director Justin Lin stated in a press release.

Many fans are worried about snapping up tickets to such a lucrative event. Rest assured, Star Trek takes care of its trekkies. Those who were unable to make it into the sold out Paramount Pictures fan event on Friday night already have their tickets locked in.

San Diego Comic Con is set to take place the day after the Star Trek Beyond premiere, running from July 21 to July 24. Announcement for movie premiere tickets are forthcoming.
