We can't wait to learn more.

Did you feel a chill in the air earlier this afternoon? Did the hair stand up on the back of your neck? Perhaps that's because the one-and-only R.L. Stine popped up to haunt the AMA subreddit.

While there to promote The Haunting Hour, his Halloween special on Discovery Family, Stine stayed true to the "ask me anything" format and fielded lots of questions from fans of his classic Goosebumps series.

One answer in particular caught our eye.

Reddit

Yes, you read that correctly. Our favorite childhood horror author let it slip that he's working on his first comic with Marvel. He didn't divulge any other details, but we're certainly excited to learn more about the project.

And since we have nothing more to reveal on that front, we'll leave you with some other fun facts we learned from Stine's AMA.

• His favorite Goosebumps book is The Haunted Mask. (It's also one of ours.)

• His favorite Halloween candy is the Kit Kat bar.

• His favorite TV show right now is Game of Thrones

• We should watch for a Fear Street movie next year.

• His always starts his stories with the title.

Stine seems like a pretty cool dude, though we wouldn't expect anything less from the guy who came up with treats like Say Cheese and Die!
