Mass Effect Andromeda remains one of the most tantalizing mysteries on the horizon for gaming fans, but we now have a better idea of what alien adventures to expect from the upcoming game.

Nov. 7 has become a holiday for fans of BioWare’s sci-fi RPG series, playing on Commander Shepard’s call-sign, N7. To commemorate the date this year, fans received their best look yet at the continuation of the Mass Effect saga.

We get a great look at some familiar ships and alien races, as well as tons of new details. The footage begins with a brief narration from Alec Ryder, voiced by Clancy Brown. The game’s story will follow his twin children, Scott and Sarah, as they explore a far-off galaxy more than 600 years after the events of the original trilogy.

Humans are the aliens in this story, as we learn from the intimidating new antagonists seen briefly in the trailer. There’s also ferocious beasts and a giant worm in the desert that will prove to be threats in this new galaxy.

There’s no exact release date yet, but the game is slated to debut for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in the spring of 2017. The next gameplay reveal for Mass Effect Andromeda is set to hit at The Game Awards in December.
