The first teaser for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is here, and author Lemony Snicket (played in the flesh by an especially brooding Patrick Warburton) really doesn’t want you to watch it.
The story so upsetting and unnerving, he claims as he breaks the fourth wall, that the whole Netflix crew is suffering a case of “low morale” with the exception of one cackling Count. But despite his warnings, we’ll probably make the “mistake” of watching anyway when A Series of Unfortunate Events drops on Netflix on Jan. 13—which of course is Friday the 13th.
