If YouPorn has its way, a former beauty queen will soon be the company’s spokesperson.
Celebrity gossip site TMZ reports that the porn video site has offered former Miss Teen Delaware USA Melissa King $250,000 for the position.
King resigned her crown and title Tuesday after allegations surfaced online that she had participated in a pornographic video months after winning the pageant.
The disgraced pageant queen allegedly appeared in a clip for GirlsDoPorn.com, a site that features footage of real amateur girls engaging in sexual acts. The woman in the video never discloses her name and tells her interviewer (and eventual sex partner) that she’s doing it because she needs the money.
King told Delaware Online that she wasn’t the woman in the clip.
“Absolutely not,” she stated. “It is not.”
When asked by the same publication if it was someone else who looked like her, she replied with “Um, I’d rather not be talking right now, but yeah.”
That didn’t stop YouPorn and Brandon Burns, the site’s marketing director, from reaching out to King via a letter.
“We are deeply saddened to hear that you resigned your crown of Miss Delaware Teen USA due to the recent reports of you having shot a hardcore sex scene on an adult website,” Burns’ letter, obtained by TMZ, read. “As you now know, there is nothing more popular than a story involving ex beauty pageant contestants doing porn! While your peers and the Pageant officials may not like the publicity this is generating for them, we absolutely see a real opportunity for us to work together!
“While you may have surrendered your tiara for Miss Teen USA, we’d like to keep that pretty head of yours topped with ours, and name you Miss Youporn! We’d like to offer you a compensation package of over $250,000 this year to go across the world and promote our site.”
The “compensation package” does not state whether King would make a video to be featured on the site, but it certainly suggests that she might have the opportunity to do so.
“Many famous directors and producers frequent our site daily, we know this due to the emails we receive from them. I am sure through your travels with us as Miss Youporn, you will meet a lot of incredible people and see the world.”
Though Burns didn’t specify in his letter, King will also likely become familiar with the interior of various hotels across the globe.
