The man behind the legendary Ron Swanson is now on Twitter.

Nick Offerman, who plays Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, started tweeting Tuesday. The account is not verified, but Parks and Recreation writer and producer Michael Schur broke the news.

“Tweet #1 check out how hot and hilarious my wife is. #breakinginonfox,” was Swanson’s first tweet. His wife is Megan Mullally, who’s best known as Karen from Will and Grace but currently stars in the Fox comedy Breaking In.

At nearly 10,000 followers, Offerman should ask his Parks and Recreation costar—and active Twitter user–Aziz Ansari for some Twitter tips. Ansari is currently in a battle with Pres. Obama over his follower count.

Fans are loving that Offerman’s character is now on Twitter and tweeting him about his character’s love of breakfast food—especially bacon.

“@Nick_Offerman Just give me all the bacon and eggs you have,” tweeted @AgainstKyle.

That’s a welcome Swanson would certainly enjoy.
