YouTube Guide: Stuff from the '90s
With more than 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it's physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. In YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) Pop Roulette, "Stuff From The '90s!"
As much as we say we wish it was still the '90s, we only really care about the happy things. No one wants to hear about Kosovo, the Rwandan genocide, or any of the violent and terrible things that happened to people.
2) HouseholdHacker, "Quick and EVIL April Fool's Pranks"
If you're still trying to figure out how to mess around with your friends and family for April Fool's Day, HouseholdHacker has a list of quick and terrible things to pull off at the last minute that will have them hating you for the next few days.
3) Extremely Decent Films, "The First Honest Cable Company"
It's about time someone said it. They believe in money, so you're stuck with choosing from a list of rip-offs with hidden fees and slow Internet speeds. Good luck finding a better provider because every company operates this way so you're stuck with it.
4) Nerdist, "Doctor Puppet - The Red X"
The Doctor's back for another adventure just before he sets off for another season, but in puppet form. He's presented with a hidden message he thinks is from River Song, but a trip to another planet introduces him to someone he hasn't seen in hundreds of years.
5) AweMe Channel, "Stop Motion Chalk Art: TETRIS"
Once you recognize that 8-bit tune, you know exactly what game it's time for. Artist Chris Carlson uses a chalk ramp to draw out everyone's favorite game from long ago, and things turn out a lot better than normal.
