YouTube Guide: Passover, Les Misérables-style
With more than 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it's physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. In YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) The Maccabeats, "Les Miserables - Passover"
The dream lives on in this yearly Jewish tradition. The story of Passover is told using Les Misérables as a basis as Moses stands up against the slaveholders and leads the Hebrew slaves out of Egypt (with a lot less bloodshed than the French student revolutionaries experienced).
2) Satire, "March Madness explained with Star Wars"
If you still don't understand March Madness despite its constant presence on your Twitter feed, here’s an easier way to explain it. Using the various ships and vehicles featured in the Star Wars films, it all comes down to the Jedi battles we've waited to see for the final movie.
3) Sleepthinker Films, "Minus IQ | The pill to lower your IQ permanently"
The world is full of idiots, but instead of expecting them to act reasonably, you might as well join them by lowering your IQ with one pill. You may end up not liking anyone who's different from you in the process, but it's okay, because you certainly won't be alone in your line of thinking.
4) Sneaky Zebra, "Prop Wars"
Some might try to solve an argument with words, but when you have an array of movie props at your disposal, the more sensible thing to do is obviously use as many as you can to best your friends. Just hope somebody doesn't find the Death Star.
5) CinemaSins, "Everything Wrong With The Dark Knight In 4 Minutes Or Less"
The Dark Knight has been both critically and commercially successful, but these critics find many of the film’s plot points hard to believe (even for a comic book movie) and want Vsauce to test the Joker's trick with the eraser end of a pencil.
