With more than 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it's physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. In YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) Jon Lajoie, "Started as a Baby"
The YouTuber-turned-actor is back with another song, and now he's singing about a time we can all relate to, even if we can't remember. He's come a long way since he started out as a baby, and now he's even singing about that journey.
2) Epic Rap Battles of History, "Rasputin vs Stalin"
Neither Rasputin nor Stalin has a particularly good track record throughout history, so once Rasputin and Stalin throw down the mic Lenin, Gorbachev, and Putin can't help but throw even more insults their way.
3) Indy Mogul, "Worst Trailer Ever? 'Home Without, Marleqta"
Even if "Home Without, Marleqta" isn't an actual movie, you've probably already seen something like it. You can spot an indie movie from the serious music, recent film festival award, cliché shots, foreshadowing, and it probably looks like it was shot in a short amount of time.
4) MadeManDotCom, "Jake Johnson Imitates Popular Internet Memes"
We've already seen Alison Brie put on her best Grumpy Cat face for Paul F. Tompkins, and now New Girl's Jake Johnson takes on some of the Internet's most popular memes. Johnson hams it up for the camera as he attempts his best Strutting Leo, You Don't Say, Troll Face, and his own twist on Grumpy Cat.
5) Shane Dawson, "Celebrity Tweets"
Shane Dawson pulled a Josh Groban and composed a song made entirely of the words of wisdom that celebrities have posted on Twitter. When you put their tweets to a somber-sounding piano tune, they pull right at the heartstrings.
