What better way to celebrate the end of your twenties than by literally falling down on the ground in front of shocked strangers all over New York City?

That’s what openly gay Broadway performer Juan Torres-Falcon (Kinky Boots) must have thought as he vogued his way around town, hilariously doing “death drops” in front of dentist offices, Christmas trees, Trump Tower, and even the Olive Garden. Voguing, the dance form popularized by Madonna and films like Paris is Burning, is rooted in black and Latino LGBT culture—but you’ve never seen it quite this silly.

As Torres-Falcon shouted phrases like “Wash your panties, bitch” (before flinging himself to the ground in a laundromat), passersby were repeatedly taken aback—including a deeply concerned Mickey Mouse walking through Times Square.

The actor posted the birthday video to his YouTube page—which hosts The Juan in a Million Showon Saturday, and it quickly went viral across social media and LGBT blogs. It’s not the first time Torres-Falcon has graced the Internet with his queenly brilliance, either: In 2010, the Miami native told his own coming-out story in a video for It Gets Better Broadway.

“I grew up being the only gay person that I knew,” said Torres-Falcon in the clip. “It was me. That was it. I went to a very small high school and I was the only gay person there. I didn’t know how to express it to anyone, I just knew what I was. And there was no one else there like me… it was sort of isolating to be that only person.”

Torres-Falcon later described a “fierce lesbian” friend who once defended him from homophobic bullies. But with death-drop and high-kick skills like the ones demonstrated in his voguing video, we have a feeling that these days, Torres-Falcon is not someone you want to mess with.
