Vin Diesel has made his mark on the world by breaking box office records as Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious movies. He’s garnered over 90 million Facebook fans—more than double Barack Obama’s count. Vin Diesel is the embodiment of machismo; he’s a human muscle car.

But before he was busting heads with torque wrenches and jumping across skyscrapers in cars, Vin Diesel’s favorite street activity was breakdancing.

In possibly the most ’80s video of the ’80s, Diesel can be seen popping, locking, waving, and worming in his Adidas tracksuit and shell-toe sneakers. The clip has resurfaced nearly a year after it was uncovered on Live with Kelly and Michael. Diesel told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan that he street performed in places like Washington Square Park and Columbus Circle in New York City long before he became an actor.

I hope the latest viral success of this routine leads to more dancing in Vin Diesel’s career. He would definitely be a welcome addition to Magic Mike 3XL, if such a movie were to exist. I mean, he’s clearly got the moves.
