The Internet has a habit of policing its pet peeves—parking badly, reposting funny pictures that everyone’s already seen—with an almost religious fervor. That phenomenon likely has no example as strong as the filming of vertical videos, in which someone shoots video but doesn’t turn their phone 90 degrees in order to fit the retangular shape in which all other videos come.

That’s why it’s so natural for redditor and YouTuber Th3Drunk3nGod to angrily chastize his wife in a video he uploaded Saturday: “Vertical videos are a sin!”

Never mind that his wife is gamely filming a grown man as he proudly shows off an automatic Nerf gun he purchased at a garage sale in Texas. Instead, marvel at how, indeed, it does look quite a bit better when she tries a second time.

Also never mind his condescending tone to his game wife. As he wrote on Reddit, “She knew exactly what she was doing, she was messing with me exactly how I mess wit her, and I love it. There is nothing more wonderful than having someone that shares the same sense of humor as yourself.”

So there you go.
