We all subject ourselves to the fickle mercy of vending machines. We offer a card or cash in hopes that it’ll do what it was made to do—give us that drink or snack we’re craving throughout any given day.
But sometimes the machine plays us, as is in this scenario where some poor anonymous soul tried to purchase a Honeybun for a dollar, only to realize that the price was actually $1.10. This person then went on to write a lengthy, step-by-step account of what happened for the “Candy Man” to see whenever they return.
