Do you have faith in the U.S. Postal Service? If so, you probably shouldn’t watch this video.

The CCTV footage shows a USPS carrier flinging a fragile Amazon package onto a customer’s porch before inexplicably running a lap round her van. The camera has a crystal-clear view of her carelessly tossing the delivery onto the ground. Ironically, the video’s description notes that the package contained more surveillance equipment.

The USPS employee has been identified and postal service officials personally apologized to the customer.

If you think this is an isolated incident, guess again. A quick search on YouTube shows that there’s an entire subgenre of bad delivery videos, ranging from the U.S. Postal Service to Britain’s Royal Mail to private delivery companies. Postal carriers have even been taped dumping boxes of mail into the trash.

Drone deliveries don’t sound so bad now, do they?
