One teacher in the Netherlands went to quite the extreme to wake up a sleeping student.
It’s a scenario many teachers have likely seen before. A student has fallen asleep from boredom, exhaustion, or some other reason, and conventional measures won’t wake him up, as his classmates have demonstrated. But in this case, the teacher skipped other potential wake-up solutions—loud music, shouting in his ear—and went straight to the fire extinguisher.
If there’s anything that would prevent this student from falling asleep again, that might have been it.
