Been a while since we last heard from Tan Mom, so stands to reason that we’re now talking about punching her in the face for money

A $5,000 purse is for the taking to the man or woman who wins a Damon Feldman-sponsored contest to box Tan Mom, Patricia Krentcil, the bronzed New Jersey woman arrested a few years ago for trying to sneak her daughter into a tanning salon, for three rounds on June 14 in Atlantic City, N.J., the shining beacon of the Mid-Atlantic coastline.

Whoever pays the $10 entry fee automatically gets entered into what’s guaranteed a $500 payout, but that could net $1,000 for a victory and $5,000 for a total knockout. It’s the latest in a string of publicity stunts from the often-mocked mother, who by now has starred in a music video for a song, called “It’s Tan Mom,” and whose fame very well could be a result of a shock stunt gone awry anyway.

Feldman, you may remember, is the slug king of boxing promotion, who originally booked George Zimmerman to fight DMX before backing out on account of public scorn. At the time, he said he was proud to move past that fight and onto the next chapter of his life.

Which apparently means booking the Tan Mom.
