So brave. So stupid.

One very brave man decided to see if the Reddit community had what it took to successfully pick up random strangers. The results are about what you would expect.

YouTube user Callux came across the March 19 AskReddit thread “What are some hilarious pickup lines?” and decided to see just how effective these lines were in the real world. So, he took to the streets of London, stopped random pedestrians, and tried out everything from “Are you my homework? Because I’m not doing you, but I should be” to “I want to paint you green and smack you like disobedient avocados.”

It’s a huge miracle that Callux wasn’t punched.

While Reddit may excel at charitable causes, its collective abilities in matters of the heart seems to be about as good as its detective work.
