Mirror neurons are a neurological feature that not only allow us identify what emotions other people are feeling but also enable us to experience that same feeling ourselves. This video of a young woman rising out of her wheelchair to greet her nurse after being paralyzed for 11 days will stretch your mirror neurons to their limit.

The patient is Bailey Murrill, and her symptoms of paralysis appeared from nowhere, without explanation, according to her parents:

Our daughter, Bailey, had complete paralysis from the waist down for 11 days with no explanation as to why. This video is of one of her favorite nurses coming onto her shift and not knowing that Bailey had started walking this day.

Roll the tape, and cue the waterworks.
