Morgan Freeman is a supporter of many things—President Barack Obama, southern cuisine, penguins. But there’s one thing that the iconic actor doesn’t seem to care for all that much, and that’s Snapchat.
That’s right, Freeman couldn’t care less about the instant-video-messaging app that practically all the cool kids are using these days.
Complex Media’s Alex Hudgens captured this hilarious moment of man versus technology, as she attempted to make Freeman’s first snap happen.

Just in case you didn’t hear their brief exchange, here’s what they said.
Freeman: “I just talk to it? What do I say?”
Hudgens: “Whatever you want.”
Freeman: “I don’t want to say anything.”
Welp, if Snapchat was hoping to hire Freeman as a spokesperson, they just lose their chance.
But it seems that Freeman isn’t completely anti-technology: The actor has lent his voice to the navigation app Waze. So yes, if you’ve made dinner reservations somewhere but don’t know exactly how to get there, Freeman will both guide you to your destination and sooth every part of your soul with that voice of his.
