Megan Brown loves baseball. Don’t believe her? Her Twitter handle is @thatgirlondeck, and the first line in her biography is “awkward as Bartolo (Colon) at bat but not nearly as sexy.”
So yeah, Brown is more than a casual fan, and if you’re apparently trying to suit her for future companionship, perhaps quizzing her on an elementary baseball topic isn’t the best move to make. Otherwise, she might (metaphorically) hit you out of the park.

Here was Brown’s thinking for her response.
“When meeting or dating guys, it’s common for them to attempt to quiz women to test if they ‘really’ are sports fans,” she told Uproxx. “This guy was someone I met off of a dating app, we had started texting, and he asked me that question. It seemed pretty condescending, plus it was something SO basic it was kind of insulting. Instead of responding with the teams (first instinct) or ignoring, I decided to have a little fun.”
