'Butt mom, it was just a joke!'

Kids at the grocery store are usually pretty insistent about what they want, whether it’s a huge box of cookies adorned with some adorable zoo animal or the sugary cereal they had at last week’s sleepover at Henry’s house. But one little boy decided to skip tricking his parents into buying him sweets and go straight to full-fledged bathroom humor when he got his hands on their shopping list.

Twitter user Anne B. posted a picture of her brother and sister-in-law’s list of groceries, and it looks relatively normal—until you get to the, well, bottom.

I’m unsure of what’s funnier: the fact that the list turns into a landslide of butt requests or the totally obvious change in pen color and handwriting. What’s also great is the surprise “Farts.”

Apparently, this isn’t atypical behavior from Anne’s nephew. She told the Twitterverse that he had an affinity for all things poopy. But it looks like it’s all been taken in good humor.

Hey, this kid could just be a poet in the making. Check out those early writing abilities.
