On the last day before public pools are drained for the winter, the Calgary public pool service has an awesome treat for dogs and their owners.

For one day only, this Canadian province’s outdoor pools let dogs go swimming. The event is known as the Doggy Paddle. Of course.

Footage of this year’s Doggy Paddle is predictably adorable, with dogs happily frolicking in the warm water. “Oh, it’s hairy,” said an employee of the Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pool Association. We can just imagine.
