Border collies are known to be one of the smartest breeds of dog, but even they sometimes encounter a mystery beyond their powers of deduction: Meet Fant, a 7-year-old pooch who won’t rest easy till she understands how the motion sensor in a bowling lane works.
Or, more accurately, until she exhausts herself by continually setting it off, scuttle-dancing maniacally in confusion over the harsh buzzer sound, and hesitantly approaching the foul line once again. After all, it’s not like she has anything else to get done today.
Tough round—she’s just lucky she wasn’t bowling with Walter Sobchak.
