This is a pretty good disguise.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most recognizable athletes in the world. But if you make him look like a bulky homeless man, all of a sudden one of the world’s best soccer players—a man also considered by many to be dashingly handsome—becomes a slight annoyance on the streets of Madrid who’s denied the phone number of at least one woman.

Luckily, ROC Live Life Loud—a partnership between Ronaldo and others that focuses on audio technology—made a video chronicling his adventure on a Spanish plaza as Ronaldo tries to engage the locals, win the heart of a woman, and surprise the hell out of a child.

Give a look.

Good stuff, though the ending with a the kid and the discarding of the disguise was a little bit weird. Or as one of my editors said, “[Ronaldo] proves a very important lesson, which is apparently that children should always stop in busy cities to play with homeless men.”

Especially if that homeless man is one of the most talented players in the world.
