Beaver rides home in police squad car after trip to Chick-fil-A

Leave it to beaver to end up in trouble.

The officers of the Bellevue, Washington, police department are out there making the streets safer every single day. And also, apparently, getting beavers out of trouble.

After one naughty little dam-maker found himself in a Chick-fil-A parking lot (most likely on the hunt for waffle fries and various sauces), a police officer escorted the lil’ guy back to his lodge—by giving it a ride in the back of his squad car.

Just so casual. And this isn’t the first time that wildlife has gotten the backseat treatment. Earlier this year, a detained Detroit pig pooped in a cop car before being released. At least this beaver was polite enough not to leave any surprises behind.
