Roombas might be great for vacuuming, but its unintended role as the preferred mode of transportation for pets and babies might win over more customers.

The idea of putting your child or pet on a Roomba has been around for years, but caught on again more recently with a cat dressed up as a shark and a Boston terrier “riding dirty.” And it’s easy to see why: Aot only are you and the Roomba rider entertained, but your floor is getting cleaned.

A number of parents decided to give their children the ride of their brief lives, which was captured into a compilation video by CrazyFunnyStuffCFS. If the babies are too young to be able to sit or lay on the Roomba properly, there’s a quick solution. The plastic chairs they sit in fit perfectly on top.

While the children are amused or unbothered by the ride, it’s entertaining their parents even more.

“I’m sure this wasn’t in the owner’s manual,” one dad says, laughing.
