An Ohio woman was indicted Wednesday for livestreaming the sexual assault of a woman on Periscope

The prosecutor on the case said Marina Alexeevna Lonina, 18, and her 17-year-old victim were socializing with 29-year-old Raymond Boyd Gates in February. A series of unknown events led to a sexual assault that prompted Lonina to take out her smartphone and stream it live on Periscope for her followers to see. One follower decided to notify the police.

Lonina is now facing charges for sharing the video. Lonina also allegedly took a nude picture of the victim the night before the sexual assault, prompting two counts of illegal use of a minor in sexual material, KXAN reports.

Both her and Gates were indicted on two counts of rape, one count of kidnapping, and one count of sexual battery on Gates’s part. The two could each face up to 40 years for the charges.
