Reddit, it’s easy to forget, is a pretty crowded place. It has so many members, in fact, that it’s not unusual for two of them to be in the same physical location around the same time—with each completely unaware of the other.

This “two redditors, one place” phenomenon provides great glimpses into the nature of coincidence, as well as how the Internet overlaps meatspace. User Kjell_Aronsen was good enough to compile a few globe-spanning examples for an uncanny gallery.

So take some comfort in knowing that even when you seem to be lost, standing amid a sea of strangers, there’s likely a friendly redditor in the mix. You know, just waiting to take a photo of something crazy.
