YouTuber TribeTyler was finally ready to propose to his girlfriend of almost seven years. But before getting on one knee and popping the question to Haylee, he turned to her family for their blessings.
Siblings Grant, Zach, and Danielle all gave Tyler their support, which he made sure to document in the video. As for Haylee’s late father Greg, Tyler’s video includes a voiceover letter to him. He explains that he’s proposing to Haylee and how he always thought about the day he’d come to him for his good wishes. The fiancé-to-be also shares his love for Haylee.
At one part he says, “I want to be the man that shows her love and patience, and give her everything she needs.” He later ends his voiceover with stating, “I’ll make you proud to call me your son.”
Tyler whips out the ring when the couple is in Rome on May 31, 2015. Haylee nods her head, they embrace, and share a kiss.
And with that, our hearts are all fuzzy with warmth and our faces covered in tears.
