There's 'bad teacher,' and then there's this.

Here’s one for people who enjoy eyebrow-raising: A Virginia teacher allegedly showed her students before-and-after photos of her breast enlargement surgery. Yikes.

Police have seized the iPhone of 34-year-old Melissa Kidd, a teacher at Woodside High School in Newport News, Va., after three of her students, aged 16–18, alleged she treated them to pictures of her boob job.

One student additionally claimed Kidd had also showed them a photo of her genitals. Dear god, why.

Kidd was placed on administrative leave without pay from the school in March after the students complained to school administrators, and ultimately resigned her position in April.

According to a search warrant affadavit received by the Smoking Gun, police failed to find conclusive evidence on their initial search and are now requesting court permission to deploy alternate extraction methods to locate any additional, possibly deleted, data from the phone.

The Smoking Gun notes Kidd has a career switcher license, which allows Virginian professionals with “relevant life experience” to teach. We’re guessing breast enlargement surgery was not the relevant life experience Virginia had in mind.

She also holds a Master’s degree, which just goes to show that common sense—like “don’t show your students pictures of your boob job”—can’t be gained in academia.

If charged, Kidd will face a count of “indecent liberties w/ child by person in a supervisory role.”

You can say that again.
