This pair of woolly mammoth tusks can be yours for the low, low price 274.5 bitcoins!

Richard Marcus, a sculptor and designer who specializes in ancient ivory, is selling a pair of woolly mammoth tusks excavated in Canada in the mid 1980s on BitPremier, a “Luxury Bitcoin Marketplace.” At today’s bitcoin exchange rate, the tusks are going for a little less than $170,000.

“They are 8 1/2 feet & 9 1/2 feet long and weigh approximately 120 lbs. each,” Marcus writes in a description of the tusks.

“Ideally I would like to see them bought and donated to a museum,” Marcus told the Daily Dot via email. “They are truly majestic and I always get a kick seeing young kids’ eyes bulge out and a big ‘WOW’ come out of their mouths.”
