The costumed affair that is Let’s Make a Deal doesn’t necessarily scream romance, but a rare romantic moment from Wednesday’s show may have brought the cutest proposal on this side of daytime TV.
David and Ronald had already won $4,000 in a game of Gold Rush and managed to get out with any zonks. So it was already a good day for the couple, who had more money than they walked into the studio with. But David had one last piece of gold to reveal before they sat back in the audience, in lederhosen and all.
We’re not sure if host Wayne Brady knew anything about it beforehand, but the master of improv song from Whose Line managed to have a romantic ditty at the ready as they shared a milestone together.
That’s worth more than any big prize behind the curtain.
