In the most recent video posted to the children’s section on the official Jehovah’s Witnesses website, the lesson is: The best way to handle lesbian moms is to tell their kids that their family won’t be going on to the after world, known as paradise.

The website’s kids section is called Become Jehovah’s Friend, and it uses cute cartoons, songs, videos, and games to teach Witnesses-in-training moral lessons.

The latest lesson is called “One Man, One Woman,” and follows the story of a little girl who sees a drawing of a family with two moms in her classroom. Confused, she runs home to tell her mom—who explains that those moms aren’t going to be allowed into paradise, because being gay is kind of like trying to bring a bomb on a airplane.

“My teacher says all that matters is that people love each other and that they’re happy,” the little girl tells her mom.

Mom responds with a skeptical “hmmm” before launching into the bizarre airplane/paradise analogy about the drawbacks of same-sex marriage.

According to mom, God wants people to be happy and knows what’s best for us: “That’s why he invented marriage the way he did.”

“You mean one man,” the girl asks, “and one woman?”

“Exactly,” says mom.

The lesson ends with mom explaining to the little girl that “people can change,” and encouraging her to go tell her classmates that lesbian moms don’t go to heaven.

An earlier video in the same series called “Love All Sorts of People” offers a message of diversity and acceptance towards different races, abilities, ages, and nationalities. Unfortunately, LGBT people don’t seem to count.
