It’s the little things in life that give us the most joy while simultaneously terrifying us.
On a trip to Marktoberdorf, Germany, freerunner and climber James Kingston climbed to the top of a smokestack with a GoPro and gave us an incredible—and incredibly terrifying—look at the ground below.
Getting to the top of the smokestack is hard enough to do, but that’s only part of the problem. Kingston has be able to balance himself on the structure’s tiny platform.
Kingston didn’t just climb up there for the view. As trivial as it may seem, many of us would probably attempt the same thing given the opportunity—and given the right equipment to ensure we didn’t slip and fall.
