Think twice before sharing anything online. Then think two more times.

The world’s most egocentric, vertically oriented video is perhaps unsurprisingly a hateful rant against the U.S. Supreme Court‘s decision to legalize gay marriage throughout all 50 states.

“This is a really sad day for me,” begins Becky Wegner Rommel of Ellettsville, Indiana, in a video posted to her Facebook account. Her motivations are simple: she’s a passionate Christian expounding her beliefs, and she happens to be doing so just two clicks away from a truly hateful place.

Rommel takes a left turn somewhere to steer her conversation with herself into the topic of Muslim “extremlists…extremists.” She then pushes more uncomfortable buttons on the topic of abortion. In short, we appear to have a case of someone crashing and burning on social media in spectacular fashion while reciting Fox News headlines as last words.

“Please, Christians, please, make a stand,” she pleads teary-eyed into the camera. “Make a stand for what you believe in.”

Rommel’s Facebook account has since been deleted, but not before someone captured it on YouTube to be preserved forever. Some culture-jamming genius has also created a Facebook persona for “Becky Wegner Romme,” complete with screenshots from Rommel’s video, though the profile describes this person as a comedian.

May history remember Becky Wegner Rommel as a bad example.
